October 6th, 1939 – December 18th, 2022
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our Dad, Wilfrid George Langan at 83 years young. He is predeceased by; his life long partner, our beautiful Mom, Catherine; all ten of his siblings; his son Derrick & son in law Ken.
Left to mourn are his children – Deborah, Jamie (Tracy), Paul (Melanie), Michelle and Jana, daughter in law Collette, many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Dad worked for many years building roads & highways across Canada. He has been the head chef for all of our family gatherings. Our Dad loved getting together, spending time playing cards or watching the Jets & Bombers. Over the years Dad proved he could fix anything, especially with a wire coat hanger. He was especially famous for his sense of humour, making jokes, asking skill testing questions and was loved by many.
Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa & Poppa was one of a kind & will be dearly missed.
Service will be held early Spring/Summer when we can enjoy the outdoors as Dad did…

Healing prayers for your grieving hearts … so sorry for your loss.
I will miss running into you at the Casino Uncle Weab. You were my dads best friend in life, and I’m sure he is very happy to welcome you to his card table in the heavens. Xoxo
Wilfred was very thoughtful and very welcoming. Family gatherings were not complete without Grandpa. Aways smiling and a pleasure to talk to. Condolences to the whole family.
