August 11, 1946 – March 22, 2024 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Pich.
Walter passed away on March 22, 2024, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 77 years after a courageous battle with cancer.

Walter leaves behind his loving wife, Dale, of 39 years, son Todd (Sherri), grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Marcus, Matthew, Breanna, Hannah, siblings, Marion, Lawrence, Gracie.

He was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Annie, his siblings, Paul, Johney, Peter, Evelyn, Barbara and Donny.

Walter was born on August 11, 1946, in the RM of Fisher, MB. He worked as a driller and blaster for 35 years. Walter loved to be outside riding his lawn tractor and having a drink with friends. Walter was always the life of the party.

Our family expresses heartfelt gratitude to everyone who walked alongside us and provided support to Walter during the challenging times he faced.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Woodhaven Park Community Club 200 Glendale Blvd. Winnipeg on Monday, April 1 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.

    you will be sorely missed! You were loved by us allI ♥️. In our sadness, we are grateful that you made peace with God and accepted Jesus as your Lord and saviour in the hospital before God took you home. Now you are with Him and having the best time ever!! I’m so grateful to Jesus for answering my prayer and not taking you to be with Him until you were right with him. He gave you so many extra years and we are all so grateful! 🥲 🙏🏼 Looking forward to seeing you again!!! Until then, you will be remembered lovingly.

    So happy to hear this ….Walter was v special to us and to our children when they were small …..he will be missed …..and yes thankful for the many more years added after his accidents …. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
