Victor Seminchuk

In Loving memory

March 21, 1943 – July 6, 2023

It is with deep sadness and broken hearts we announce that Victor passed away on Thursday July 6, 2023 at the St. Boniface Hospital at age 80.

Victor is survived by his wife Cecile of nearly 54 years, brother Earl, sister Olga (Nick), Elsie, Norma, Clara (David), Joan, Verna (Owen), Angela (Dale), sisters-in-law Olga, Vreni and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Nellie, brothers Bill, Tony, John, Slawko and brothers-in-law William and Ralph.

On October 3, 1969 he married Cecile Fedoriw, daughter of John and Helen. After their marriage they made their home in Winnipeg.

Victor was born in the R.M. of Mossey River (Fork River). He received his education at Small Creek, Fork River and Winnipegosis Schools.

Victor was associated with the East Kildonan Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he engaged in the Christian ministry and loved to share with people the promise of a new world under God’s Kingdom.
He cherished the hope of living forever on a paradise earth where there will be no more pain, sorrow or death (Revelation 21:3,4; John 5:28,29).

A memorial service will take place at a later date with family and friends.

Dear Viktor, I am very sad for the news of your departure. You and your dear Cecil were always so kind to our family in Winnipeg…
And when we visited the neigbourhood, it was always so nice to meet you both. Have a beautifull fly back to Lords home, he is waiting you with his hands open.

Cecil, I am so sorry!!! Keep strong in.this moments, and be sure that Viktor will be happy when he sees your smile. With Love, Maria Luisa and Vera, from Buenos Aires, Argentina
