August 29, 1939 – March 5, 2024 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather Terry Aggelopoulos. On March 5, 2024, Terry passed away at the age of 84.

He will be deeply missed by his children George (Athina) and Jimmy, and his granddaughter Theodora. Terry was predeceased by his wife Theodora, and his siblings Peter, Ourania, Penelope, and Antigone. He will be mourned by his soulmate Janet and her daughters Krista, Jennifer, and Sara, and their families. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Anna, his brothers-in-law Angelo and Aristidi, many nieces and nephews, relatives, and countless friends.

Terry was born in Pikerni, (Tripoli), Greece on August 29, 1939, and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967. He dedicated his life to his family.

He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed gardening, barbecuing, and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed many trips back to Greece to visit his relatives. He will be missed for his sense of humor, and fun-loving nature.

Prayer service will be held Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8th at 11:00 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.

Interment will be held at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave following the funeral service.

    To my Godbrothers George & Jimmy,
    I was so sad to hear of the passing of my Nono. He will always be remembered by me as a Godfather who gave so much, cared so much, loved so much & sang so much. Thank you Nono for all the great memories together & will always cherish them. He is in Gods great care & love forever. May his soul rest in eternal peace with our Heavenly Father .
