  1. My beloved sister Sylvia affectionately known as Slawka was everything one could wish for in a big sister. She was always nurturing and kindhearted to me growing up. I hold dear memories of her carrying me on her back to cross the Roseau river which ran through the back of our farm in Stuartburn so that we could take a short cut through the woods to church or town. Through the years she continued to be my stalwart with her comforting and encouraging advice. I will miss our conversations greatly.
To my nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren, know that you carry her solicitous legacy in each of you. She loved you so much.
    with love and adoration, Ollie

    1. Hi Ollie, I remember that we met in 2003 at the celebration of life for my father, Nick Masyk, at the Legion in Toronto. You gave me your phone number but I waited too long to call you and the number no longer works. Do you have a phone number or email address that I can reach you at? I would like to connect with you. Jim Masyk
