Sharon Lynn Wilson Davidson
April 18, 1949 – January 31, 2024

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, Sharon Wilson. Surrounded and supported by family in her final months, Sharon put up a brave and courageous fight after suffering from a stroke and cancer diagnosis in early November. Although an uphill battle, her illness was short-lived, and we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and at peace.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents James and Marian. She is survived by many, including her brothers Jack (Shirley) and Jim (Karmen); her two children Dean (Karen), and Kim (Jim); five grandchildren Jamie (Karli), Jenna (Curtis), Taylor (Michael), Tanner, and Shay; and five great-grandchildren Nash, Koen, Myla, Madelyn, and Connor.

Retired for only three years, Sharon had spent 47 years working within the property management industry in Winnipeg. Sharon took pride in being able to support and help people and was very knowledgeable within her area. In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed spending quality time with loved ones, trialing recipes, cheering on the Winnipeg Jets and was always crocheting something for a loved one. Her blankets, dishcloths, and baby clothes will forever be a reminder of her.

When the family reflected on their favourite memories and comforting thoughts of Sharon, a few things that were mentioned were as follows. She was kind, smart, and considerate. She will forever be remembered for her butter tarts and meatballs, a staple at family gatherings. She was a good listener and a lover of conversation. Her sense of humour and care for others, which are things she had with her until her final days.

We will miss our Mom/Grandma terribly, and we will forever feel the void within us since she left.

We would like to send out our sincerest thank yous to the amazing and caring staff within Heath Science Center, we appreciate the care our loved one received.

A Service / Celebration of life will be planned within the coming months, please reach out to the family for further details.

Wonderful You
Always so cheerful
Warm-hearted and gay,
Casting your smiles around
Every which way,
Sympathetic in sorrow,
Tenderly bright,
Possessed by the courage
To do what is right;
The fairest, the squarest
Most loving and true,
Dear little, sweet little
Wonderful You!

    My condolences to Sharon’s family.
I worked with her many years ago at Apex Realty, she was a very friendly and happy co-worker.

My deepest condolences to all the family. This is very sad news. Sharon and I worked together and were friends outside of work, but sadly lost track of each other over the last few years. I was able to speak with her on her birthday last year and we had a good visit and catch up. Sharon was a fun warm person and I have really good memories of times together.

Her family was everything to her and I know a big void will be left with her passing. Love to all

I worked with Sharon many years ago and my memory of her was that she had a big heart, was extremely generous and had a terrific sense of humour. My heart goes out to her family as I know she will be missed terribly.
