It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rudolf Sawatzky. Rudolf passed away with Jesus in his heart on February 23rd 2024 In Winnipeg Manitoba at the age of 65.
He is survived by siblings Johann Sawatzky, Peter and Lisa Sawatzky, Franz and Eva Sawatzky, Bernhard and Anna Sawatzky, Tina Unrau, Lily Sawatzky, Richard Sawatzky, Daughter Denise Sawatzky, Grandson Conner Brow and Nieces and nephews as he had many.
Rudolf was born in Loma Plata Chaco Paraguay. He worked at Kitchen Craft in shipping for over 40 years.
He loved the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Winnipeg Jets and the Boston Bruns. He won the finals in Junior Hockey for Lanmark. He was a major Football and Hockey Fan.
In his last hours he said he was with Jesus. There will be Celebration of life at a later date with family.
