September 19, 1971 – March 24, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Harris (Hemphill), on March 24, 2023. Ron passed away with family by his side.
He is survived by his mother Linda Hemphill; wife Candace; children Chris (Lindsey), Meagan (Justin), Giuliana (Chase) and Ryan (Sydney); grandchildren Theodore, George, and Madeline; his siblings Liz (Don), Margaret, and Joey (Kathy); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Predeceased by his father, Thomas Hemphill, and of course we cannot forget the wieners Tinkerbell, Peanut and Baby.
Ron loved riding his motorcycle in the sun alongside his TNR brothers and casting a fishing line out into the water. He had a passion for plumbing and driving machines, it fueled him to operate his own business. These adventures gave him many stories to tell, and they gave us great memories to keep.
A service will be held on April 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street at McBey Ave. Following the service, a gathering at Four Crowns Restaurant, 1030 McPhillips Street. TNR will be hosting a memorial ride for Ron at a later date, when weather permits.

Ride on…
I’m so sorry to hear this Candace. My thoughts and prayers are you during this difficult time. Hugs
Gone too soon.
Will always remember his laughter and grace.
Wish I could be there to celebrate Ron’s life, unfortunately I won’t be able to be there.
Love ya Brother. Gonna miss our daily phone calls, bitching about plumbing. Gonna miss doing bike shit. Love ya bro.
My sincere condolences to Candace, Chris, and the rest of Ron‘s family. I first met Ron at Chris and Lindsey’s wedding. Soon after, I also officiated Candace and Ron wedding. It was a pleasure getting to know their family and friends that day as it was a ceremony to remember with numerous TNR chauffeuring Ron in with the rumbling of Harley’s. I could feel Ron’s connection with his friends and family and how important all these
people were to him. He clearly had an amazing support system with Candace and his family and friends by his side through his journey. God bless those who are left to mourn. I wish I could attend the celebration and hear all the amazing stories (which I’m sure there are many) however I will be out of town until April 20. If there is a streaming link that I can watch when I return, I would love to do that).
I am very sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I have known him (by a great association of my best friend Tom Hemphill {Ron’s Father} ) since he was born. He has assisted me in my home many times, and for that I am very grateful. We cleared snow at Munro Construction for quite a few years. Ron was a very good machine operator and worked very hard, BUT he had a great sense of humour and played a lot of pranks on us at Munros.
I will miss his friendship and great help that he provided to all of his friends.
GOOD BYE RONNIE.
