Myra Christina Romana Kudla

Myra Christina Romana Kudla

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Myra Christina Romana Kudla on December 19, 2023. Myra is survived by her husband Ken; oldest son Roman (Elis); youngest son AJ; grandson Jackson; brother Andrew; nephew Drew; and sister Christina. Myra is predeceased by her father Roman, mother Maria, sister Romana, and brother George.

Myra had a fun and free soul. She loved socializing with family and friends, while never failing to have a good time. Her sense of humor put a smile on people’s faces while helping her meet new people in any circumstance. She genuinely cared about people and where they were going in life. She could spend hours on the phone talking to family and friends or letting her two sons know where she found some good deals in the flyers.

On July 5th, 2008, Myra married her life partner Ken. Myra loved Ken deeply as over the years he showed his unwavering care and commitment to her. The two spent many years travelling together and experiencing life. No matter how difficult life got, Myra knew Ken was always by her side.

When asked what Myra was most proud of, she would quickly tell you all about her two sons. Myra passed on many of her amazing qualities and traits to her sons. From her ability to cook, to her athleticism across many sports, and to her caregiver personality. Whether it was the rink or the pitch, Myra could be found sitting in the crowd and supporting her boys. In recent years, nothing brought a smile to Myra’s face more than the visits she received from her grandson Jackson. Myra relished the moment she became “Busha” to Jackson and she could spend her late years eating popsicles and freezies with him.

The family would like to thank all the medical and homecare staff who came into Myra’s life and helped her through her journey.

The family welcomes you to celebrate Myra’s life on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., in Winnipeg Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Manitoba’s Firefighter Burn Fund.
