February 7, 1949 – October 8, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Clair, on October 8, 2018, with his wife by his side, at the age of 69.
He was predeceased by his parents Isabel and James and his in-laws Elsie and Bernie.
Clair is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Judi; brothers-in-law Doug (Linda), Gord (Darla); nieces and nephew along with his sister Lin and brother Wayne.
Clair spent most of his career in the food industry. Later in years, he worked the desk at Kildonan Golf Course. He loved to golf and was a member at Elmhurst for a few years. He enjoyed sports and watched many golf and hockey games on T.V. Holidays were always a great time, going down south with Elsie and Bernie. Christmas spent with family was a special time for Clair and Judi. He was a people person who always had a joke to tell and made many friends who will miss him dearly. He was known as a great guy and enjoyed many days at the Garden City Food Court with old friends and new. Clair came from humble beginnings. Judi’s family became his family and he was looked upon as a son. His mother-in-law always called him “my Sonny.” He was a loving and caring husband.
“I loved him with all my heart. May you rest in peace until we meet again.”
Lovingly remembered by your family and Judi
