Matthew Christopher Chambers
October 8, 1990 – August 3, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Matthew Christopher Chambers.

He is survived by his mother Chriss (Dave); his brothers Mitchell (Sabrina) and Austin; nephews Konely and Kai, who he adored; his Oma Rosemarie; and grandmother Laverne; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his dad Jim; Opa Phil; grandpa Neil; and cousin Rae-Anne.

Matty was energetic, full of life, and a daredevil. He has been on the move in full force since he could walk at 10 months old. We knew back then that Matt was ready to take on the world. As a young child and teenager, Matt was very active in various activities. He was very involved and very good at Judo and his passion for snowboarding. Winning many competitions in both sports. Which included traveling to other places to compete.

He also spent a lot of time with friends dirt biking and skateboarding, which he also excelled in. Growing up Matt loved spending time with his family – He had a lot of fun with his brothers and cousins Kevin and Tyler. The 5 of them were a team.

Matt loved spending time with his nephew Kai, and Kai adored his uncle Matt. They had a very special bond. Matt had his ups and downs, but he was on an exciting new path in life and was looking forward to these new adventures.

Matt will be remembered for his energetic and living on the edge attitude toward life. He was fearless and very passionate in his beliefs. He certainly made life a lot more interesting.

The family would like to thank everyone for all their love and support.

A celebration of life for Matt took place on August 7th at Larters Golf Course.

Matt – Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
You are free now – spread your wings

    1. Deeply saddened to hear this news, had the pleasure of working with Matt with Randall Plumbing & Heating, he was a hard hard worker and usually the dirtiest, never shying away from a difficult or dirty task, you will be missed by many my dude.
