December 15, 1960- January 8, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Les (otherwise known as Caveman), who made his way to the spirit world on January 8, 2024, with his closest family by his side.
His humor, wisdom, and loving heart will be missed by many. Family was very important to Les, he loved his children and grandchildren more than life itself.
Through his passing journey, he leaves behind the love of his life Tracy, daughter Destiny, son Matthew, and grandchildren Madison, Ethan, and Ainsley. Along with sisters Kathy (Ed), and Shelley, god-daughter Ashlyn, uncle Billy, his nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who he adored.
He was predeceased by his mother Diane, father Percy (Caroline), and sisters Francine and Carol.
Les was born on December 15th, 1960 in Winnipeg and lived most of his life in Elmwood. He lived a lifetime of hardships, yet always looked for the positive in everything. He taught all of us a lot about life and love in the short time spent.
He was a born hustler who would give the shirt off his back for the ones he loved.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue.
As well as a celebration of life to follow up afterward.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba.
Voyage Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements.

My friend my brother you will be missed by many,though I can’t be there in person I will be there in heart and mind, I have nothing but great memories to always look back at, the laughs and good times we shared and the conversations we had were always in trust. You were always solid as a rock inside and out with a big heart . Well my brother you are now on the otherside in God’s hands with all who love you , I know your feeling absolutely amazing right now free of this difficult physical world that’s full of ups and downs and struggles and learning experiences, but now your in a place where only love exists and surrounds you for eternity ❤️ See you when it’s my time my brother.
