Lawrie was a driving force behind the East Kildonan Kiwanis Club’s long time support of the youth programs in RETSD which gave students leadership opportunities to help their local communities and create a great sense of community through philanthropy.
I am saddened to hear of his passing and send condolences to his family .

Thank you…
I worked with Lawrie for many years at Air Canada IT. He was always happy and in good humour, a great guy to work with. After retiring, he continued to send a bunch of us emails to keep us informed of important life events or just a bit of news of our ex-coworkers. So sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

So sad to hear of Lawrie’s passing. I had the honour of volunteering with Lawrie for Osteoporosis Canada. Great volunteer!
Lawrie was a super guy to work with, and a very good friend. When he worked in the Software support area, he was a technical wizard, and the go-to person for all our questions. As a Supervisor, he was fair, patient & helpful. And most of all, he was just a great guy to have around! We are so sorry to hear about his passing. Heartfelt condolences to all of the family. Lawrie was such a gentle kind soul. I had the honor of working with him when he worked for MB Lotteries. He would always lend a helping hand at work, no matter the problem.
