What a wonderful Journey Mom endured for 99 years. All through life she loved and cared for us, and in her final hours she stayed with us for 6 days to allow us to Love and Care for her and for each other till she passed May 17th.

Pre-deceased by her Husband Michael of 54 years, and her son Kenneth Jan 12,2023. She will be deeply missed at all the family gatherings. Leaves to mourn four children, Wayne (Sue), Ron (Colleen), Rosemarie (Carlos) and Dan; grandchildren, Chris (Kara), Chad & Ainsley, Matthew (Julia), Erin, Greg (Jenna), Shawn & Jena, Dustyn (Jadeanna), Jade (Tristen), Cole & Haley and Nash (Erin); 10 Great Grandchildren; many relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.

To Mom family was everything and her joys were felt through all of us especially Aunt Helen Puhach. Mom lived for family get togethers especially at the farm and in the Whiteshell.

She left us the following;
To Those I loved and who loved me.
When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to do.
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many good special years.
How much you gave to me in happiness, I thank you for the love you each have shown.
But now its time I travel alone.
So grieve awhile, if you must, let your grieving be comforted by trust.
It’s only for awhile that we must part.
Bless the memories within your Heart.
I won’t be far away, if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see me or touch me, I’ll be near.
Listen with your heart, you’ll hear, all my love around you soft and clear.
And when you must come this way alone, I’ll greet you with a smile and say Welcome home.
To all my precious Grandchildren remember me as you run and play, Baba will be running with you all the way.
My Love for you all will linger on.

Mom loved her social times and dancing, especially at the Legion on Selkirk. Life was filled with more happy times then sad ones. She soaked in every moment and made it a fun time where ever she went. She may have left the farm long ago but her farming blood stayed within her. We spent most every fall at the farm and had such great times and memories there. She lived the bulk of her years on Maddock and had the support of her neighbours that looked in on her every day. We gathered family most every Christmas and Easter and special occasions.

She worked in the restaurant business as a waitress serving at Dads (Mikes Lunch) restaurant and then Gordi’s , Ceasar Palace and Viscount Gort restaurants in Polo Park.
