June Christine Johnson

June 24, 1982 – April 15, 2023

It is with deep sadness and heartache that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of June Johnson on April 15, 2023.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Naya, Carson and Dalton; mother Gloria; brother Kevin; sister Amanda; brother-in-law Chuck; nieces and nephews Kayden, Paris (Cam), Kole (Teyanna), Zack and Lucas; great nephew Kaleb and great niece Kayleigh; along with numerous extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her father Brian Johnson.

June was born in Winnipeg on June 24, 1982. She was the youngest of three children. She was not only beautiful on the outside, but she also had a beautiful soul as well. June enjoyed meeting new people. She saw beauty in others and took her time forming her own thoughts and opinions about the people and things around her. She never cared what people thought of her or her styles; she had a zest for life all her own. As a young woman June was happy, carefree, and full of life. Her personality was too big for this world to contain.

June’s biggest, happiest, and proudest accomplishment was becoming a mother to her three beautiful children. She didn’t love anyone more than her three babies.

Often in life we forget that those who are the happiest hide their pain the best. June had an illness she couldn’t get past, but throughout her illness she still loved and cherished her children and family. June tried many times to turn her life around. She thrived a few times but lately was having difficulty succeeding. Even though our hearts are broken, and we feel lost and stolen of time, we take small comfort knowing June no longer has to endure the pain of this world.

An immediate family only service and interment has already been held in honour of June.

Our family would like to send our sincere gratitude to all those who have reached out with condolences and prayers at this time for June. We appreciate everything and kindly ask for continued respect and privacy during this sorrowing time.

“We hope Dad was there to greet you with open arms at heavens gates. All our love forever”
