Judith died peacefully with her husband, Stanley Beckford, at her side.
She was predeceased by her parents. Judith was a strong woman who worked to achieve her goals. She is most proud of receiving her doctorate (PHD) from Trident University.
Judith worked for a wide variety of organizations primarily in the fields of workplace education, workforce skills, and literacy throughout her career. In her later working years, her efforts were concentrated on Immigration and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). She and Janis McKeag worked on the Basic Workforce Literacy, Prairie region, which was a groundbreaking national project.
Judith was born under the sign of Pisces a water sign and this aligned with her love of the sea, both under – scuba diving and above – sailing.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
