In loving memory of Jessie Bedard, we are saddened to announce her passing on Feb 27, 2024.
She was mom to Kim (Pete)and Ron(Ana). Grandmother to Sabrina (Kelly), Nicole(Chris), Monica (Jason), Logan (Candace), Juliana, Billy, and Tommy. Great grandmother to Jaxon, Flynn, and Avery.
With her late husband Dennis of 54 years they ran Windsor Video starting in 1984 which was a staple in Winnipeg communities. Providing much needed entertainment and joy to the communities. The store could often be seen filled with her grandchildren counting out change to its customers, or happily eating popcorn while sitting in the aisles watching movies.
Many summers at the lake, Big Whiteshell and Lake of the Woods. Many happy memories were made there. She and her husband were avid travellers and have travelled to Italy and all the way to Alaska.
In her retirement, she and Dennis, spent their time split between Kenora, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Places her family visited them in often. She found most of her joy in taking care of others. Not only would she be the first to volunteer to baby sit her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, she would spend her free time visiting orphanages in Mexico.
She will be remembered for her calm demeanour, her selflessness, spirit of adventure, incredible gravy, and for her love diet pepsi, (not Coke).
A small private gathering to celebrate the wonderful life of Jessie will take place this summer, with her children.
