March 13, 1952 – January 10, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Jean announce her peaceful passing on January 10, 2022 at the age of 69 years. A dedicated mother and baba, Jean leaves her loving children Donald and Katie; grandkids River, Astrid and Loik; and brother Myron. She is predeceased by her husband Phil; parents John and Anna; and brothers Steve and Stan.
Jean enjoyed camping trips with family and loved to make homemade pierogies for holiday meals. Everyone went home with their own dozen plus sour cream; a tradition she continued from her mother, and that will remain for many years to come.
The family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, St. Boniface Hospital (4E), and Riverview Health Centre (3E) for the wonderful care given to Jean.
She will be interred beside her husband Phil in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

I am sending my condolences to the family of
Jean. We are so sorry for your loss. I remember walking home with Jean from school and her mom would be making perogies and always would send me home with a sample. So good.
We used to have lots of laughs walking home.
