July 21, 1924 – April 19, 2019
Emil Drohomereski from Pleasant Home, MB peacefully entered his rest at 94 years young. He was the last legacy of his family. He was predeceased by his parents Nykola “NP” and Annie; and brothers Merlin (Mary), Ernest (Marion), Stan (Ivy), and Raymond.
His wife Florence lost her dear husband of 65 years and his children Anita (Richard) and Garry lost their dear old dad. He is survived by his dear sisters-in-law Jean; Violet Demery; special “son” Bruce; and special care giver Monica; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who are left to share their amazing memories of Uncle Emil.
Dad and Mom lived a full farming life until they moved to Gimli in 2002, where they spent 11 years enjoying the lake life. Dad loved flying, playing cards, fishing and sports, especially hockey. Whenever we hear the chatter of a game there will be a flutter in our hearts that says “Dad.” He was close to creation and his Creator Jehovah. He was baptized in 1949 and until his passing he chose to love God and the gift of eternal life through his son Jesus. Even at 94 he would often be reading his Bible or colouring. We thank God for the beautiful gift of our Dad and Husband. He was a carpenter and spent countless hours helping friends and family. We’ll forever be surrounded by his handy-work. Now his hard working hands have been laid to rest.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave, at Henderson Hwy. Private interment will be at a later date.
