Elizabeth Vivian (Steeves) Rogers

January 13, 1944 – July 2, 2022 

Rogers, (Steeves) Elizabeth Vivian born January 13, 1944, Passed away early in the morning of July 2, 2022.

Born in Indian Mountain, N.B. she was the fourth child of Hubert and Julia (Murray) Steeves.

We discovered some inspiring poetry written by Elizabeth that showed a side of her we were unaware of! Good job Liz!

Elizabeth attended Nazarene Bible college in 1967-69 when she moved to Winnipeg, MB with some friends. She then moved on to work for Manitoba Hydro for a number of years before moving to Thompson, MB where she was a Property Manager for a number of years.

She moved back to Winnipeg, MB where she married the love of her life, Raymond Rogers. They had been married for 30 years.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Raymond and all her siblings, Jean Ward, Joan Smith (Dave), Kenny Steeves (Lena), Donna Webb (Kyle), Shirley Wilson (Boyd), Sharon Crawford(Dave), Judy Bleakney (Evans), Ruth Joudry (Peter) and Philip Steeves.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is predeceased by siblings Jimmy, Clarence, Louise, Vincent, Tommy, Ronnie and Julie.

Cremation was done by Voyage Funeral Homes in Winnipeg and private Gravside burial service was done with family at Birchhill Cemetery in Berry Mills, New Brunswick.
