Elizabeth Kathleen McDougall nee Ashby

January 8, 1933 – September 23, 2023 

After a long battle with COPD, the matriarch of our family, Elizabeth Kathleen McDougall passed away on Saturday September 23, 2023 at 90 years of age, with her family by her side.

Elizabeth, better known as Betty was predeceased by her husband Ralph and her daughter Colleen. She is survived by her five children: Rick, Darren, Lisa, Kelvin and Maureen, as well as grandchildren, great-children and many nieces and nephews and many other family members.

Betty was born on January 8, 1933 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She raised her children and sometimes her grandchildren. She worked hard to make things better for her family. Betty was a strong, beautiful, independent and passionate human being, she always gave the best hugs. Betty was full of love and loved spending time with her family. She really enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and discussing it her son, Kelvin. Sadly Betty will be deeply missed by all her family and all those that knew her and loved her.

Betty will forever be in our hearts.

We will miss you Mom.
