December 22, 1947 – August 24, 2022

Diana Bedford passed away on August 24, 2022 peacefully with her family at her side.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Thelma and Al Gallupe, her husband Raymond Bedford and husband Richard Dwornick, brother in law Bob Arnold, and grandson Jason. Left to mourn is daughters Debbie (Peter), Colleen (Greg), Donna (Gerry), son Daryl (Theresa), grandchildren Mandy, Michael, Kendra, Breanne, Aaron, Carleigh and Jennifer, sister Marilyn, Linda (Ted), as well as many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

One of the things Diana loved most was spending time with her family and friends. Diana worked at McDonalds for 34 years and she loved her McDonald’s customers and the friends she made. Diana also loved camping with her group of friends at Ofty’s Campground.

A special thank you to the many wonderful healthcare staff at St. Boniface and Seven Oaks Hospital’s that looked after her over the last 3 years. The family would also like to thank Oakview Personal Care Home staff for taking such great care of her in her last days.

In lieu of flowers, Diana would love a donation made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We would like to thank Voyage Funeral Home and Crematorium for their help and assistance.

  1. Diana was a most lovely lady, neighbor, and friend. Even with all of her trials and tribulations with her health she never once complained. I so recall asking: “How are you Diana?” Her reply would be: “I’m alright Linda. “We all must keep going”.
Always had a cheerful attitude and a lovely smile. Come Christmas Season there she would be at my door with a platter of homemade goodies made by she and Ray. She so loved her work at McDonalds and so missed being able to be there with everyone.
We send heartfelt condolences to all of her dear family. Debbie, Peter and your children our hearts are broken for your loss.
Debbie each and every day you were here checking on your dear Mom, doing anything you could possibly do to make your Mom’s life easier, Always letting her know that you were only a phone call away.
Diana you fought a very strong fight! Now you are free from pain and reunited with your dear Ray.
In Silence She Suffered, In Patience She Bore, Until God Called Her Home To Suffer No More.
With Love and Condolences To All. She will always be missed, Linda and Daniel

Barry and I are both so sad to hear of Diana’s death. Both she and Ray were such wonderful people and we were very lucky to have known them. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
