Dean Beischer

Dean Beischer

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dean Beischer, aged 53, on January 19th, 2024.

Dean was a loving husband to his wife Chantale Belisle.

Together, they loved to go camping and bike riding with their dog, Tallon.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother Cynthia, brother Duane (Diane), nephew Tye, niece Danika, and stepdaughter Mia (Cody)

As well as his extended family and many, many friends. Dean was predeceased by his father Craig (d. 2007)

Dean was always ready to go for an adventure and spent lots of his time working on his various projects in the garage. His most prized being his 1949 Studebaker.

Dean grew up in the motocross community and has been riding and racing dirt bikes since the moment he was tall enough to get onto one. Since then, he has broken most of his bones, some more than once. Within the motocross community, there was never a stranger to Dean. Everyone knew him, everywhere he went.

Dean loved storytelling and sharing memories. His memory of each race, each person, and even what the weather was that day, was absolutely remarkable. If you gave him the chance, he would start telling stories with all the detail possible so that it seemed like you were there. As repetitive as his stories could be, he always shared them with a smile.

We all have many memories of Dean, even if you only met him once, for 5 minutes, years ago.

Dean’s family would like to thank everyone for their support through this difficult time.

A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be held Friday, February 23rd at 1:00 pm at Norberry-Glenlee Community Center, 26 Molgat Avenue.

Our heart goes out to Cynthia, Chantal and family, Dean was a treasure! We always enjoyed our time around the campfire. And enjoyed his stories and his arguing over the Trivia Night outcome. Big hugs to all

  10. So many memories flood my mind. Birthday parties and get togethers in Winnipeg and your many trips to Swan River. Dean being the youngest always working to keep up – even being dropped from the tree fort when he was too frightened to climb down and happy days at the rodeo. My heart goes out to you as you cherish your memories of Dean.
    Much love Diane Bill.

  11. Dean once hit me in the head with a burning log from a fire. Yes alcohol was involved. No I wasn’t seriously hurt. Dean was a fabulous guy. I always enjoyed seeing him. He will be missed.

  13. Dean , when I first met Dean, we used to argue about everything, but he was always there when I needed him(help me w my car, somehow he dragged me to Motor cross race although it was never my thing. I will miss u Beisch .

  14. Last fall at the speedway I had the opportunity to sit with Dean and his mom and we told stories and reminisced for a few hours.
I didn’t know that was the last time I would see him but we laughed and embellished our past exploits. I want Deans family to remember that he was loved and was always welcome wherever he went. To say we all will miss him would be the ultimate understatement……………………….

  15. I knew Dean growing up through Cub Scouts and our families’ friendship (primarily our moms). He was always fun to be around and I particularly remember that we would go ride bikes in the woods near our neighbourhood. (I was always secretly jealous of his motocross bike.) I’m sad to hear of his passing and send my condolences and thoughts of comfort and support to Cynthia, Duane and Dean’s whole family.

  16. I am speechless, and I am so sorry. We lost a really great man way too early 😭

Wow, he truly was remarkable – so charismatic, warm, and knowledgeable. Our discussions were very enriching, and his genuine care for everyone he loved was evident ❤️ It’s rare to encounter someone who instantly makes you feel like a longtime friend.

Losing such a fun and loving person feels like a tremendous loss. The memories and stories he shared will forever be cherished. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to meet him that unforgettable night; it was truly a blessing.

Chantel, I am deeply grateful to you for welcoming me into your lives and making me feel like part of your circle of good people.

During this incredibly difficult time, please know that my heart is with you and your family. I’m here for all of you, now and always ❤️

  17. Chantale, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Dean, but from all the comments from friends and family, he sounds like a great guy. My condolences to you and the rest of your family.

  18. I also knew Dean, from Motor Coach Industries, for over 25 years, and we were both shop floor workers. Everyone, who knew Dean at MCI, from all of management, to all within the union there, were shocked and deeply saddened by this horrible news. Dean was a constant source of amusement, but was also smart enough to elevate his position at MCI into management. Dean definitely was a great story teller, but was a very good worker and leader too. A caring person, who definitely left this world too soon!
As he made other people happy in life, he will make the Angels in Heaven, laugh too!
R I P Brother Dean. All your friends from MCI will miss you dearly!
Our collective condolences to Dean’s grieving family. 🙁

  19. If anyone was a true “live wire” in my years of motocross … Lil Beisch took that trophy for sure! Always grinning, always up to something off the deep end … sometimes getting tweaked in the process :). The world lost a momentous source of laughter … the best medicine by far!

To Dean’s beloved family and enormous extended family, I send my most sincere condolences and my wishes for your PEACE

  20. The news of Dean’s passing in January, was “met with a saddened denial” by many friends that knew Dean, throughout Motor Coach Industries. Like others at MCI, I knew Dean both as a Union worker, when he first started welding, (I also was in the warehouse and in production worker roles), until Dean earned his Supervisor position within MCI. He was well known as “a great story teller”, a positive attitude towards everyone, a caring co-worker, a listener, and the man earned a well respected reputation. Dean could relate to his co-workers within the Union, and within the MCI management rank and file. We all learned about his “9 cat lives” of “good fortune” to survive all his Motor-Cross accidents, and the fond relationship he had with his father and the Racing community. From this news, we were in denial, that he passed at such a young age, until it was confirmed in February. Dean’s
many friends within MCI (and those retired from MCI, like myself), ALL send their condolences to Dean’s family, with our deepest regrets! You could fill a Fleet of Coaches with Dean’s friends!!
I know, that Dean would have all the Angels in Heaven laughing, as soon as he arrived!! As he did, make all of us laugh, on Earth!
God Bless Your Soul, Dean. God Bless Your Family in mourning.

  21. I was so happy to run into Dean and Mrs. Beischer at our recent high school grad. I’ve known their family since grade one. It was amazing to hang with him in his shop that night, having a few beers, laughing and reminiscing. It seemed like 40 days since we’d seen each other, not 40 years. It was to be the first of many such gatherings, had I known it was the last…The news is still crushing, my heart and deepest condolences go out to all who loved him, especially Mom and Chantal. RIP l’il Beisch! You will be missed.

  22. We knew Dean in our earlier years through motocross life and family. Our sincere condolences to the family. Thinking of you Dwayne and Diane.
    Dennis and Kim Mogg

  23. We are so sorry to hear of Dean’s passing. Our sincere condolences to Cynthia and all the family.
    Ken & Linda Martin

  24. To The Family,
Memories are all that’s left, how precious they are; his infectious mischievous smile, open hand to greet, meet, enjoy, and help. My time with him at MCI is full of warmth and laughter. I as others who came to know will miss him.
    With Prayers: “Chandran Mendis “
