We are sad to announce the death of Joseph Oscar Daniel Boily, after a brief battle with cancer. He died peacefully in his sleep on March 20, 2024, at the age of 75, surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife, Tannis (Bowman), his wife of 26 years; children Jean-Camille (Elisa) Boily, Shanine (Matthew) Hodges-Whittaker, Yvan (Monique) Boily, Yness (Sandra) Boily; step-children Ryan (Carolynn) Wong, Leona Wong; and Riley Bowman; his siblings, Solange (Gérard) Bissonnette, Antoinette (Jean Paul) Bissonnette, Benoît, Gilbert, Marthe Stupack, Fernand (Dianne), Lorraine, Claire (Adrien) Grenier, Rolande (Aurèle) Durand; his mother-in-law June Bowman (Stafford); brothers-in-law Fernand Gauthier, and Allan Bowman; his sister-in-law Cheryl Boychuk; 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Camille Boily and Marie-Louise (Decelles); his father-in-law Lloyd Bowman; sisters Simone Fiola and Alice Gauthier; brothers-in-law, Aimé Fiola, Adrien Hudon, Roger Stupack, and sisters-in-law, Jeanne Faucher-Boily, and Brenda Turenne.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or the Manitoba Lung Association.

Amazing and glory to an amazing uncle of mine his niece, Kiera. Will always love him in his heart even though he passed away, he still in God’s hands and heart. He is in a good heaven home.
