Christine Mckane (Trudeau) Nee Rackham

Christine Mckane Trudeau Nee Rackham

After a two-year struggle, Chris passed peacefully at home on December 4, 2023, at home embraced by her dedicated and loving husband Stewart, her family and close friends by her side.

Christine never conquered the world, she only stood on the top of hers. She was the “BOSS”. Definition of a woman. She was a selfless, wise, independent, practical, loyal, generous, and kind person. Most of all she was a loving woman.

Chris is survived by her husband Stewart; two children Tod Trudeau (Marni) and David Trudeau (Lyndsay); grandchildren Sydney, Nathan, Jovi, and Raylene; sister Rocky (Guy); brother Mike; nieces Taryn and Katrina; nephew Daniel; and special closest friends Lynn and Jaye; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Chrissie will be missed by the many friends, old and new, over her entire life.

On top of raising a family, Christine worked many years in the service industry and the St. Boniface Hospital. For the last 25 years, co-owner of the family business. Chrissie’s two favorite places on this earth were Sioux Narrows, Ontario, and Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.

Chris loved to play Scrabble and card games and tried to outguess Jeopardy contestants on TV. She also enjoyed dancing, which is where she met Stewart 29 years ago.

No celebration of life or services are planned. Special thanks to the caring assistance of M.A.I.D.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ALS Society of Manitoba, www.alsmb.ca.
