Catherine Manicone (Bugera)

Catherine Manicone Bugera
July 23, 1975 – October 18, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of our beloved Catherine on October 18, 2023, at Riverview Health Centre surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by both parents Maria and Walter Bugera.

Cat’s memory will be forever cherished and remembered by her loving son Aiden; partner Chad; sisters Stephanie (Jared) and Sonia (Darrell); niece Aubrey; Godmother Auntie Rosalie; best friend Amelia, Carl, Savina and her beloved pets Otis and Oliver.

Cat was kind, thoughtful, caring, and funny. She was a strong independent woman with a positive attitude. She was not afraid to speak her mind. Her biggest joy in life was her son Aiden who she loved dearly and was so proud of the person he has become.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at CancerCare at St. Boniface Hospital and Riverview Health Centre, 3 East Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion given to Cat.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Highway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cat’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba.

Cat will always be a very good friend to me. All the way back to our rolling skating days at Saints.
She was thoughtful, caring and funny.
Going to miss her very much.

  2. Cancer devastates. Sorry for the loss of Catherine, may she rest peacefully & the family be comforted during this difficult time. ❤️ I remember her from school, she always had a beautiful smile on her face. RIP Cat.

  3. Cat will always have a special place in our hearts. Her smile would light up the room. She had a great sense of humor, putting up with Trevor’s jokes and pestering always with a laugh and wouldn’t hesitate to pester him, or anyone, right back. A true warrior to the very end. Sending our love and condolences to our brother Chad, her son whom she loved so very much, Aiden and her entire family. With love: Trevor and Erika Duguay
