February 3rd, 1965 – September 2nd, 2023
Brent Michael Earl Crawford, 58, of Winnipeg Manitoba, passed away on Saturday September 2 nd, 2023 at the Health Sciences Center of a lengthy battle with Cancer.
Brent was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on February 3rd, 2023. He was an only child to his mom Edith and step dad Norman Kit.
He is predeceased by his mom Edith Kit.
He is survived by his step dad Norman Kit and two daughters Kendra and Meaghan. He is also survived by his ex wife Barbara Crawford.
He was well known in the tech and online blog and radio industry as Mac Daddy. He had a huge following online and was passionate about technology and an avid Raider fan. He was definitely ” A Raider Fan For Life” He had a kind heart and loved music , especially is legendary artist Kenny Rogers.
Throughout the years Brent’s health played a toll on him not only physically but emotionally and physically. He started to suffer depression and doubt himself and struggle with life’s decisions and search for answers to life’s big questions as to what he could have done differently to be healthier, to have his daughters be estranged and divorced..life can be hard but especially after the loss of his mom, he seemed to lose a part of himself. Throughout the years Brent wanted to matter and have people be proud of him and his achievements. But not everyone did especially the people he cared about the most, except my ex wife Barbara Crawford and some close friends and family.
Thank you to the doctor’s and nurses at the health sciences center and to Brent’s long time oncologist Dr. Molten and the nurses there and to his family doctor Dr. Chavalli.
In lieu of flowers, if you want to donate to either of his two favorite charities; Autism Speaks or Cancer Care at St Boniface Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and if enough of his friends and family are interested, we can do a celebration of his life at a later date at Voyage Funeral Home on Pembina. Let Barbara Crawford know please.

Brent was a really good friend of my and I am going to miss him. Me and my friend Renalee some time met Brent at City Place for coffee and the three of us liked joking around. He always made me laugh when he knew that I was up set. I was always there for him when he needed some one to talk to. Brent you will always be in my heart as a really good friend and I will never forget you. Thank you for been a awesome friend.
