January 12, 1958 – August 21, 2023
Brent was predeceased by his mom and dad, Gayle and Ed. Leaves to mourn his loving daughter Rachelle Saurette; siblings Dan, Darrell, Mark, and Karen Smilinski and their spouses and families; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and many good friends.
Brent enjoyed sailing, motorcycling, bicycling with family, and long walks; especially slow strolls on the beaches during warm summer days. He enjoyed the sounds of the waves and the gulls. The splendors of nature touched his soul.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him

My sincere condolences to the family. Brent was a great guy and will be missed.
So glad I was able to visit with Brent before he left us. We reminisced and laughed and cried. It was truly beautiful and I will cherish it forever. Brent you will always be remembered for that beautiful smile and sparkle in your eye. That 60 years sure went quickly! Until we meet again ❤️.
