Barbara Jean Clark (nee Somers)

Barbara Jean Clark nee Somers

January 23rd, 1962 – September 27th, 2022

On September 27th, 2022, Barbara Jean Clark passed away in the Women’s Hospital (HSC), Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 60 years old. Barb is predeceased by her mother and father, Grace and Bert Somers; her youngest brother Barry, oldest brother Ted, and most recently her brother David. Barb leaves behind her sister Lynn; brothers, Ray, Jim, Blaine and Lyman (Carrie), as well as many nieces and nephews, and many more loved ones.

Barb was born January 23rd, 1962 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was the second daughter and the 8th of 9 children to Grace and Bert. She grew up in Stonewall, Manitoba for most of her childhood before venturing out to the big city of Winnipeg. Barb’s life was nothing short of interesting. She touched many lives, and made a friend everywhere she went. She was the kind of person who never let what she went through define her or steal her joy.

On behalf of her family, we would like to extend an invitation to Barb’s Celebration of Life, which will be held Sunday, October 23rd, 2022 at the Ralph Brown Community Center, 520 Machray Avenue at 2:30pm, reception to follow.

Rest in Peace Barb.
