24 Hours, 7 Days a Week

Abraham Falk

Abraham Falk
June 10, 1933 – October 4, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father.

Abe was predeceased by his wife Shirley, son Larry, and granddaughter Courtney. Left to mourn are his children Cindy, Perry (Kelly), Lori (Phil), and Ken; also, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Abe was a proud and dedicated career employee at the T Eaton Company, delivering furniture safely for 40 years and he received a Safe Driving Award every year. Supporting a family of seven on a truck driver’s wage was not easy, so he supplemented his income with various part-time and seasonal jobs, sometimes working 7 days a week.

An avid sports fan, Abe was well known for his dedication to East End Community Club where he coached junior hockey and provided custodial services. He also played hockey, baseball, and golf, and loved to watch the Jets and Goldeyes whenever he could.

Positive right up until the end, Dad felt 90 years was a respectable life span. He didn’t have too many health challenges; his mind was sharp, and he lived in his own house until the last month of his life.

As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

  1. Condolences to Ab’s family. My dad worked at Eaton’s as a furniuture driver with him. As kids, we always looked forward to Ab’s visits in our home. 90 is a good age! Ann McMullan Lacroix
