It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Wolfgang, beloved husband, and father, age 73, on March 1st, 2023 at St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Gloria, daughter Lisa of Winnipeg, his son Anthony (Leticia) of Orlando, FL., and family in Canada, the U.S., Switzerland, and Germany.

He came to Canada from Germany in 1968, lived in Ontario and after his marriage to Gloria, they moved to Winnipeg.

He worked for Motor Coach Ind. for many years. Upon retiring, he worked part-time for Bee Maid Honey Ltd.
Wolfgang enjoyed spending time at home with his family and three cats. His hobbies were playing games on his tablet, watching movies, and sports. He liked going for car rides in the country and loved nature and fresh air. He loved his family, friends, and animals, and enjoyed going for short walks, shopping, and antique stores.

Wolfgang will always be lovingly missed and remembered by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy. Interment to follow at a later date at Glen Eden.

  1. He was always happy everytime I saw him. He was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. He was part of an amazing family that loved him a lot. One of my favorite memories of him was how happy he was at fall suppers he was not a big guy but he loved his food. Rest in peace Wolfgang.
