Wayne Joseph Bailas

Wayne Joseph Bailas

It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Wayne Joseph Bailas, 78 years old, my beloved husband of 32 years. He is in the arms of Jesus though leaves all who knew him missing his loving soul and joyful personality.

He will be forever missed by his truly beloved wife Sandy Bailas; cherished children, Sheryl Sullivan (Michael) of Duncan, BC, Angela Lindberg of Stony Plain, AB, Shawn Bailas (Katie) of Spruce Grove, AB and Stepfie Botor Parungae of the Philipines; 11 grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Joelle, Jaeden, Biala, X’ziah, Owen, David, Shaylyn, Andrea, and Akillez; and two great grandchildren; Jaxson, Kate. He is also survived by his loving twin Wanda; sisters Heather and Mabel (Winnipeg); brother Bryan (Vancouver); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Irene and sister, Joanne.

Wayne lived and worked in Ottawa on a farm at the age of 10. At the age of 17, he reunited with his family and twin sister in Pine Falls, Manitoba.

He started as a heavy-duty mechanic and transitioned to be a gifted salesperson throughout his life. He started a family in Weyburn, SK, raising three children in Edmonton, AB. His career took him to Hong Kong, Dubai, China, and Africa. He was introduced to his forever love and sweetheart, Sandy Petrovic in Winnipeg and loved to celebrate with his family and many friends. He really loved people and the Lord.

  1. My heart is more than broken
He was an angle on earth, he was a friend , a brother, a father, my mentor and every thing I ever wanted on this planet earth,
He made me understand life a different way, he accept people the way they are and never judge them based on their personality.
He was a true definition of love.
My deepest condolences to the family, especially madam Sandy Bailas. Please stay strong and always remember he is still close to you than you think and God will keep you safe as he takes time off this earth to rest. We will definitely meet him one day as Christ promise us.
A man of dignity, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept the faith, Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day.
SIR, REST IN PEACE TILL WE MEET AGAIN !!
    GOOD BYE SIR.
