February 21, 1938 – July 21, 2019
With sadness in our aching hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Rosie Helena Fredette (nee Demetrioff) on July 21, 2019, at the age of 81.
Rosie will be greatly missed and forever loved by her partner, Jim McPherson; her children, Kenneth, Suzanne (Kurt), Claude (Sandra), Michele (Gary), Laurette (Daniel) and Donald; sisters Gloria Dodd and Delores Marshall; and brother Gary, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rosie was born on February 21, 1938, living her early years in St. Boniface, moving to the Ste. Anne/Richer area, and finally setting in St. Vital. She was a devoted parent, always working hard to provide for the children she loved.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge for the excellent care provided to Rosie over the past five years.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service held.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations on Rosie’s behalf may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5.
