April 25, 1968 – June 5, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Richard Lauren Fehr on the morning of Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the age of 56.
Rick was predeceased by his parents Abe and Marjorie and his brother Darryl. Rick is survived by his daughter Lauren (Daniel), her mother Karen, his sister Debra (Jean-Marc), his brother Brian (Melanie) and his nephews Adam (Angelina) and Shane.
Rick had a love of cooking and made that his career for many years before hanging up his apron to embark on a new path.
Rick enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places with both his friends and family over the years. So it was no surprise when he chose to be a long-distance truck driver as his second career. The last trip he took was to Alabama to visit friends and he was lucky enough to have his daughter Lauren as his co-pilot.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the multi-purpose room at East Elmwood Community Centre located at 490 Keenleyside Street in Winnipeg.

He was the most loving and caring dad a daughter could ask for. I couldn’t have asked for a better dad. I miss you and love you so very much. I’ll forever be your little monkey ❤️
I’ll love you forever and then some. I hope you knew how much I appreciated all the things you did to help me. Like running errands and not charging me gas money. I loved you then and I love you still
Thanks for the love and support thru all these years. But most of all thank you for the best gift ever, our daughter Lauren Lynn who you named so beautifully. She is so much like you.
