With sadness, the family announces the passing of Michael Kontaratos on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 92.
Michael served as a sexton (neokoro) at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for many years.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave with Rev. Fr. Nikolaos Tambakis presiding. Interment to follow at Thomson In The Park Cemetery.

We are so sorry for your loss. “Lailo” was a fixture in the community, and his smile was great to see every Sunday. He will be missed.
