It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden and tragic death of our father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Michael was predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Carolynn and Robert Tugwell, his eldest brother Randall Tugwell and his grandmother Mary Wilson.
He is survived by his sons Jonathan, Nicolas, Mason and Harrison, his daughter Emma, granddaughters Denver May and Amarie, grandson Carter, brothers Rodney, Rick, Chris and Jason, sisters Laurie and Cindy, numerous nieces and nephews, including Karilee and Brandy, with whom, close in age, he shared many fun times in his younger years.
Michael had a competitive spirit and was a whiz at cards and games from a very young age. He had a dry and witty sense of humour. He was a great mimic and loved movies, and music. He was an avid baseball fan and always cheered for the Blue Jays.
The only true law is one which leads to freedom. There is no other.
From Jonathan Livingston Seagull
If I had a tale that I could tell you , I’d tell a tale sure to make you smile,
If I had a wish that I could wish for you, I’d make a wish for sunshine all the while.
John Denver
