September 18, 1938 – January 4, 2020
After a brief battle with cancer, Mary passed away on January 4, 2020. Mary was predeceased by her parents Harold Stanley and Mildred Winnifred McIntosh; and sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Lonson Prettie.
She is survived by her children Patti-Jo Russell (Doug), Danny, Lindy-Ann Funk (Dan Harrison), and Jimmy (Edna); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom enjoyed her weekends at the trailer in Selkirk Park, and later at 4all Campground in Petersfield.
She liked to play bingo and the occasional bus trip to various casinos. She even went to Las Vegas with her daughters to celebrate her 80th birthday last year. Mom treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street at McBey Ave.
