I was sad to hear of Marilyn’s passing. I was fortunate to work with Marilyn at Deer Lodge Hospital. Although I was a newbie, she made me feel welcome to the Radiology department. She was always helpful and professional. I enjoyed our conversations and her never ending wisdom.
Marilyn and my late wife, Lucille, became buddies while training as X-ray and radiology technicians at St. Boniface Hospital in the early 1960s. After Lucille and I moved away from Winnipeg that friendship continued by mail and visits back and forth. Having Marilyn as a friend was exhilirating — Lucille was by nature quite reserved except when Marilyn was around. Their conversations were energetic and they laughed a lot together — life was good. Rest well Marilyn.
I’m really sorry for your loss, My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
Marilyn was a great friend. We did classes together and travelled to South Africa. Her boys spent time with my son Scott. Condolences to Jay, Kael and Marilyn’s sisters and family.
