  1. She lived on Alfred avenue and went to William Whyte school, a good friend of my sister. She was always full of life, they played together in the back yard . She had long reddish brown curly hair those were the days back then.. they don,t mention her age, But I would guess about 67 …I am 66 , and we were a year or so apart. It really seems like yesterday. It saddens me because she was the first girl I ever met and often saw her on her way to school skipping along.. her spirit lives on only her body is gone.

My sympathies to Kathleen and Elaine and all the family. I met Margaret,Kathleen and Elaine way back in the 60’s.Myself along with some of my sisters went to school and became friends with all the family. After our parents passed away we all went our separate ways. Haven’t seen Margaret for years .Seeing her picture she has that same smile she had when we first met.Rest In Peace Margaret

  5. Dennis was my cousin and as a youngster i knew both Edward and him very well. Even at a young age he was always thoughtful of others and very kind.I left Winnipeg in 1961 and for the past 25 yrs lived in Asia and Europe so i lost touch with him and his wife I remember her being so kind, thoughtful and compassionate of others. I knew her well and was saddened to hear she passed away. I hope she is enjoying Heaven and meeting all the family there.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kopychanski family. She was definitely a ray of sunshine at the roller rink. A truly beautiful soul.

  7. I hung out at Margaret and Elaine’s on Alfred Ave alot. Their mom and dad were always welcoming to me. Margaret was older and I thought she was so beautiful, Elaine was also very beautiful, I remember her first boyfriend. We all had fun back in those days we were bad asses. My condolences to the family.
