Linda Bartel passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2024, at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 73.
She was survived by her husband of 52 years Peter; along with sons Ray (Lorie), Dean (Andrea); and three cherished grandkids Hayley, Colton, & Emma. She also leaves her only sister Roberta (Frank) as well as many other extended family relatives.
For over 40 years she worked as a taxation specialist with H&R Block and most recently Northwest Company.
For many years she was involved in the sport of 5-pin bowling, being part of the executive board of 5-pin Winnipeg and youth bowling programs. During her career making long-lasting friendships and participating in local and national tournaments.
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors who dedicated their time in her final days.
Cremation has taken place and we will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
