October 29, 1941 – January 18, 2022
It is with heartbreaking and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother, uncle and great uncle at the age of 81 on January 18, 2022 at Riverview Health Centre with his wife by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Garry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years Sharon; his sister June (Bill); nephews Joe (Cindy), Jim (Judy) and Jason (Sandy); nieces Tammy (Dave) and Christy (Carlos); sister-in-law Loreen; great-nephews Nik, Jacob, Matthew and Gage; and great-niece Georgia.
Garry lived and grew up in Transcona, where he made many life-long dear friends who he treasured deeply his whole life. He loved his family; to him family was everything. Garry was employed as a security guard with Commissionaires Manitoba for 20 years until his passing.
No service will be held. Interment to be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
