April 20, 1929 – April 21, 2021
Kenneth Harold Archer of Dauphin, Mb passed away April 21, 2021, at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, one day after his 92nd birthday.
He is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Birdie, and two daughters, Laurie and Cathy. Left to remember him are his sons, Donald (Gert) of Winnipeg, Glen (Heather) of Kamloops, BC and Bruce (Megan) of Cambridge, On and his daughter, Bonnie (Ioannis) of Winnipeg as well as three sisters Doreen (Ed) of Selkirk, Mavis and Marj (Doug) both of Stoney Plain, Al and 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ken worked 35 years for the CNR and lived in Kamsack, Saskatoon, Sioux Lookout, Thompson, Prince Albert and Thunder Bay. Upon retirement, he and Birdie returned to Dauphin.
Ken was active throughout his life enjoying various sports and the outdoors. He contributed to his community through volunteerism in many areas, most recently at the Dauphin Senior Centre.
He will be remembered as a hardworking, loving and dutiful son, father, brother, grandfather and husband.
