Keith Howarth

May 31, 1973 – November 15, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Howarth, who left us on November 15, 2024 in Killarney, Manitoba. Keith was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his children, Emily and Joseph Howarth, his former spouse Ana Cristina Howarth, his parents David and Linda Howarth, his sister Terri Lyne, sons Jarrett and Bret, and his sister Lisa Liske, and her husband Lorne Liske.

Keith’s life was full of diverse and interesting work. He was skilled in cabinetry, home renovations, and woodworking, always bringing care and craftsmanship to everything he made. However, he was most proud of his many years as an aerospace engine mechanic at Standard Aero, where his expertise and work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues.

Growing up, Keith’s passion for hockey was evident in the way he played the game—with heart, dedication, and a competitive spirit that earned the admiration of his family. They loved watching him on the ice, where his energy and drive were infectious.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Keith enjoyed many canoe camping trips with his family, exploring the beauty of nature. He was also passionate about hunting, and some of his fondest memories were made hunting birds, deer, and bears with his father and nephews. These adventures were a testament to his love for the outdoors and the close bond he shared with his family.

Keith’s adventurous spirit extended to travel as well. He had a deep curiosity about the world and was fortunate to explore many parts of it, including Vietnam and South Korea, where he embraced different cultures and experiences.

Above all, Keith will be remembered for his kindness, his goofy sense of humor, and his ability to make others smile. He loved to play jokes on people, always lightening the mood with his playful spirit. His contagious laughter and warm heart left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met.

In honour of Keith’s life, a service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street at McBey Ave. The family invites you to join them as they celebrate his memory.
