It is with sadness the family wishes to announce, Katharina Martens of Winnipeg has passed away at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the age of 87 years. She is remembered for her contagious laugh, her love for family, her love for sewing, her stubbornness, and her ability to bring everyone together.
She leaves to mourn her nine sons, Frank, David, Peter, John, Jake, Neil, Isaac, Abram, and George, her three daughters, Maree, Elizabeth, and Anna along with their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her seven brothers, John, Jake, Frank, Isaac, Aron, Henry, and Bill, and three sisters, Mary, Helen, and Sarah along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg, on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 11:00 am followed by a funeral procession to Brookside Cemetery.

Grandma you will be missed by all but your now in a better place at peace & no longer suffering in these times.
I love you so very much wish I could have seen you ALOT more before you left us but sadly with the “rules” that stopped the ability for some of us to do so.
I am excited knowing I will see you again one day & when I do I wanna give you a big hug & tell you how much your loved.
