May 21,1943 – December 19,2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother and friend Judith Gail Fedak. Judy was predeceased by her father Lemuel Harris in 1996  her mother Esther Harris (nee Weiss) in 2001, and her brother Mervyn Harris in 2016.

She is survived by her husband Roy Fedak, daughter’s Lisa Fedak(Will) and Elise Jencz(Tom) and her 2 grandchildren Noah and Maya Jencz; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law Filip and Mary Laus, Mike and Bonnie Fedak and Wally and  Vicki Fedak.

Judy lived a full life as a loving mother and wife. She loved to cook and read as well as her weekly outings to her ceramic classes and bowling with Roy. Gardening was always a passion of hers but she will always be remembered for her love of singing.

Mom, you are and always will be our sunshine, dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for taking such great care of her and their continued care for Roy.

Due to Covid restrictions a funeral will not be held at this time.

  2. Dear Roy, Lisa and Elise,

John, Aaron-John, Rachel and I are so sorry for your loss! We have so many fond memories of her all the years she lived next door.
We traded so many recipes and gardening tips as well as lots of chats about everything but especially family. We lost touch but I often think of her and all of you. Keep safe!

    Loretta

  3. Dear Roy, Lisa, and Elise,
I have known Judy since Grade One in Weston School. We became good friends in our teenage years. I remember the sleepovers when nobocy slept, and the times we spent hanging out, reading comic books and movie mags, and dumping all of our Halloween loot on the bed. We used to imitate the cartoon characters such as Yogi Bear and Scooby Do. I married and moved to the US, but I called regularly just to talk, and visited her when I came to Wpg. We were always able to take up our conversations just like we were never apart. I will always remember her with a smile.
I wish the very best of blessings to you and the family as you mourn Judy’s passing.
    Sincere regards,
    Pat Pattan (Yeo)
