“Walks with the wind”
February 9, 1985 – November 19, 2021
Suddenly on Friday, November 19, 2021 Jesse Richard Thomas started his journey to the spirit world. He leaves to mourn his mother Stephanie Thomas; father Bill Towle; children Jojo (Johnathon) Kodi, Jace, Kristopher, (mother of children Chelsi), Tristan and “Princess” Avery (mother of children Jenna); sister Dolly; aunts, Diane (Richard) and Karen (Howie); uncles, Chris (Linda), Grant (Angie) and Oswald; and grandmother Elizabeth Thomas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his step-father Richard Dodge; grandfather Oswald Thomas; and his two special cousins Brandi and Brenlee who he held very close to his heart.
Jesse grew up in Elmwood located in the east side of Winnipeg. He made many life long friendships in the area. He was raised by his mother Steph. They shared a bond and friendship that made them inseparable. He shared his love for music with everyone who knew him. He loved movies and could quote them on the drop of a dime. He cherished his children and always made sure they were loved and spoiled. Anyone who knew Jesse knew the type of guy he was; he was the life of the party, smiling and laughing. He had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and important. Jesse had a heart of gold and never hesitated to put others over him. He will be missed and not forgotten. We love you Jesse.
Special thanks to Grant Jr. and Jill Wilson for holding the Ceremonial Sacred Fire.

We are all going to miss you so much jesse… it hurts so badly we talked so much I keep reading everything and reminiscing on all our times with friends and especially with Brenlee 🙁 this is so unbelievable but i am praying you’re with Brenlee and brandi and flying in the sky dancing and at peace, and what we talked about – also knowing everything you had questions about 🙁 we lost someone huge and I will do my best to stay In touch with Jill and many others, never let them go .. 🙁 we all love you jesse ..
Nephew,
Man, I miss you so very much.Every single time I saw your face, you were smiling. I’ll remember this for always.I’ll remember you as the little “poached egg” from Brazier who grew into the man who took chances to better himself and your family. I , literally, toasted you just now. Love you forever Jesse.
Uncle Cee.
Jesse,
It was an amazing time when you kids were growing up…
Miss you nephew, as much as I miss my girls.

Jesse,
Hard to believe it’s been two years. I’ve been wearing your pants and a shirt that was made in your honour for the past three days. Each of those days, I’d say a word or two to you.Today is special, the day you left us, today is Sunday which is your Mom’s day to be with your children as per usual, and today is Grey Cup Sunday.I’ll be pulling for our Bpmbers to reclaim our 3rd championship in 4 years and you, Brandi and Brenlee will be in my thoughts though out the day. Here is a photo of the three of you. Miss you all so very much.

Jesse,
Happy belated birthday nephew.
Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday Dear Nephew, Happy Birthday To You!!
Nephew, I can’t convey in words the pain I feel.
I miss you… you’re in my thoughts almost daily.
I remember when you were nothing but a small poached egg…. you like this McDonalds commercial and the music was from an old called Mac the Knife but of course it was changed a wee bit but I remember that you were so into it.
Love and Miss YOU nephew.
Your Uncle Cee
