Irene Parrish Sehon, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, aged 95, died peacefully on January 7, 2021.
Irene was a kind, principled, compassionate, thoughtful, and big-hearted woman who was deeply devoted to her late husband, Alec Sehon, and to her life as a mother and elementary school teacher. She will also be remembered for her wit and intellect; her courage in the face of challenge; and her passionate interests in the fields of art and current affairs. She will be greatly missed by her children, Anthony (Vancouver, B.C., CDA) and Caroline (Chevy Chase, MD, USA); her granddaughter, Caitlin (Vancouver, B.C., CDA), and her many beloved friends.
