Holly Lynn Klos

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Holly Klos after a courageous three-year battle with stage four breast cancer.

Holly will be lovingly remembered by her husband Erik Klos; stepdaughter Megan; father Harvey Hamilton; sisters Maxine and Brenda; sister-in-law Vicki; and nieces Kristy and Lara.

Holly was predeceased by her mother Isabel Hamilton; and her in-laws Lucy and George Klos.

Holly was born and raised in Glenboro, Manitoba. She enjoyed growing up on the farm. She loved horseback riding and spending time outdoors. After graduation she moved to Winnipeg and then to Morden where she made several lasting friendships. Upon returning to Winnipeg Holly married Erik Klos on September 1, 1999 in Las Vegas. Holly and Erik loved to travel, their favorite destination was Hawaii. They enjoyed attending concerts and entertaining friends. Their home was always open to friends and family. Over the years Holly worked in the travel industry and was employed as a fundraiser for the Humane Society and Kids Help Phone. Throughout her working career Holly has been blessed with many loyal friends who valiantly helped her throughout her battle. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those friends.

We also wish to thank the Cancer Care team at Grace Hospital, the Palliative team who cared for Holly while she was at home and also the Riverview Health Center Palliative Unit.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will follow at a later date.
