Helena Klassen

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Helena Klassen at the age of 81.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Brad (Vanessa); Darren (April); and Brian (Karen); daughter, Michelle (Rene); her grandchildren Brittany, Stephani, Holly, Grace, Rhiley, Lily, Elise and Teddy; her great-grandchildren Shamiya, Jack, and Nyava; and twin sister, Agnes Heinrichs.

Helena was a very caring person and was very proud of her family. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and always spoiled them with gifts and treats whenever she saw them.

Helena made many good friends at her apartment block. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, and having coffee with her friends there. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to any friends in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 5th from 1pm -3 pm at Sturgeon Heights Community Center, 210 Rita Street, Winnipeg, MB.

  1. She was a remarkable woman. Always giving of herself. More like a second mother. An amazing Auntie. Will be greatly missed. ❤️

  2. She was a beautiful soul. Everything and more that is said about her is true but to know her true being was to spend time with her; she was a true gem

  3. Laura & Richard Akong

Helena has left an unbelievable beautiful story and memories behind. She always smiled, she was so sweet, loved her hugs, her carying personality and her humor. Gone too soon. Never forgotten ❤️. It was an honor to share our grandchildren as she was so close to her children, grandchildren and friends 🧡. Too bad we couldn’t eat verenajes, kiljes and schauntfat more often. Love her so much. Miss her so much.

    Love Richard and Laura Akong

  4. A beautiful lady inside and out. Her sense of humour kept us laughing. Aunt Helena was very caring. We knew her through our visits with Pastor/Reverend Dave and Mom Agnes.
God’s peace to the family! ❤️

  5. Helena will be missed at the apartment she was constantly picking up stuff from the floor emptying the garbage cans or stopping in the common room to chat and offer you a beverage . She earned her wings so fly with the angels!

  6. I have to agree with Tim Robinson, she was always ready to help someone and always with a smile. She spoke so lovingly of her family. Fly with the angels.
