It is with great sadness that we mourn the sudden passing of Gregory Thomas Valcourt on June 7, 2023, at the age of 43.
He is survived by his children Lochlann and Xyla and their mother Cori-Lee Roberts; his parents Larry and Bernice Valcourt; his siblings Geoffrey Valcourt (Nancy), Louise Valcourt (Derek Lambert), Jennifer Manness (Mark), and Jeremy Valcourt; along with his nieces, nephews, numerous extended family members throughout Canada, the UK and Australia and many friends. Greg was predeceased by his brother Jamie Valcourt.
Greg was born in La Salle, Manitoba. He attended St. Maurice school, where he graduated from in 1998. In 2004, Greg graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree.
From a young age, Greg enjoyed working with computers, writing code, and using his technical skills to help others. Greg was a talented musician, he loved playing guitar and attending concerts. He also loved camping and the outdoors.
His favorite thing of all was the time he spent with his two beloved children Lochlann and Xyla.
A funeral service and interment will be held at St Hyacinthe Church in La Salle on June 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with coffee to follow at Caisse Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Addiction Foundation of Manitoba.
